We are a private school aimed at "Changing Hearts by Feeding Minds." PHCA is an extension ministry of The Potter's House International Ministries (TPHIM).
TPHIM began in June 1988 after the Lord gave Bishop Vaughn McLaughlin a vision for a church without any denominational restraints or traditional limitations.
Lady Narlene McLaughlin completed her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Pensacola Christian College and started the school in August 1996.

The Potter's House Christian Academy is fully accredited by the Florida Association of of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS), Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Cognia-Advance-ED, and National Council of Private Schools.

Florida Ethics in Education Act
"In accord with the Florida Ethics in Education Act” all employees of The Potter's House Christian Academy have a duty to report all suspected or actual cases of child abuse, abandonment, or neglect; have immunity from liability if they report such cases in good faith and have a duty to comply with child protective investigations. There is a legal penalty for not reporting suspected or alleged child abuse or alleged misconduct by instructional personnel or school administrators. The Florida Abuse Hotline is 1.800.962.2873.
